G2 Prius rims for G3

Will G2 Prius rims fit the G3? I don't recall ever seeing a definitive answer to this question. I'm looking for a separate set of rims for snow tires and was wondering if 15" G2 rims were worth considering. Lots more of those out there than G3 rims, and cheaper too. Are there any differences in rims between different years in the G2?

I read somewhere they would. They have the same pattern (5x100) the only thing would be the offset. My steelies have a whole 1/4" offset difference and they still work of course.
Also, I think Ken posted the complete 3G rim specs. Just need to find the 2G specs and compare.
Yes, I found the thread here. So yes they have the same specifications with the exception of the J and JJ. I can't remember what those are for. Will look. From what I read the J and JJ are the bead profile (shape). Don't think that would matter a great deal but don't quote me.
