    To Those Who've Owned Both a G2 & G3;

    With the advent of the "Exhaust Gas Recirculation system, I was curious if there is any noticeable improvement in the warm up time of the ICE of the G3 over the G2? I know since the release of the 2010, we've NOT had a great deal of cold weather, but has anyone seen a difference?

    I definitely notice a difference. I am getting 50-100 mpg by the 3rd minute with 50+mpg first 5 minute averages. I never got that in the GII. Plus I have noticed that if it is warmed up and I turn it off to run into the store for a minute there isn't the mandatory warm up cycle that happens in the GII. It just starts right out running on battery and stays there like it knows it is already warmed up. (unless i accelerate hard or something).

    In my 08 I would sometimes leave it on while running in to drop off mail so it wouldn't go through warm up again.

    I've seen the ICE shut down in < 1 minute in AZ after startup - definite improvement over the thermos approach.
