I just finished replacing my Gen II Prius hybrid battery last weekend and took some video of the process. Here's Part 1 on how to dismantle the interior seats and trim. I'll post the rest as I edit them and publish them online.

Here's the Part 2 video. It covers removal of the ductwork and disconnecting the battery from the wiring harness. It also shows how to clean the hybrid battery fan at the end.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. I hope you get many more trouble free miles out of the rebuilt battery.

I hope it's helpful to others. This was the kind of instructional video I was looking for before I replaced my battery but could only find partial info. I'm hoping we can get others to post information like this for re-involt and any other battery remanufacturers so others will have the information available to decide if they can do the work themselves and which choice to make on battery replacement. (new vs. reman vs. salvage, etc.)

I'm going to add my reman battery choice and mileage to my signature so it will be easy to track who has the different reman battery options and how many miles they have on them.
