Here's my 2012 with 18x8 Motegi Racing 118 rims with 225/40-18 tires. Thinking about lowering as I really dislike the gaps in the wheel wells. Has anybody lowered their Prius on 18X8 wheels using TRD lowering springs? I very much appreciate any input and pics if possible.

    Thanks,

    Alex

@ockevin has the Prius Plus setup with 18' wheels. It looks like a good drop.

That gap is terrible. My drop on Eibach springs with my 16" wheels looks better to me. ;)

Ya, it depends how many fingers! 3-4 fingers is too much. 1-2 is nice and tight. :D

My 2012 with Momo Winter 2's and Michelin Primacy MXM4's. :)

Yes, I know I should do something about the gap and am on it. PP Lowering Springs will be installed within the next few weeks. :D

Yes, I know I should have the windows tinted. These shots were taken about 15 minutes before I went to the tint shop to do 40% all around (90% windshield). :)

AZGeek, I think you should tint the windows and lower it. :D ;)

I finally get to add my wheels to this thread!
After much deliberation and votes from the peanut gallery, i finally went a completely different direction and ponied up for the forged plus package wheels. Glad I did. :)

Ya, extremely good compared to the stock 17's actually, which I weighed out at around 25lbs. ;)

Oh well. I'd like to say that I can put the OEM's back on for you, but I am just going to have to learn to live with these. ;) I still have the OEM's if you are interested in liking those better than your current set. :D

Very nice! Do you have another pic from straight on the side? I'd like to see how the car sits without a drop.

I do not have a straight side pic yet, but the car is dropped on Eibach Pro Kit springs.

Oh, she's already dropped? Dang, I guess a side pic wouldn't help then. I was thinking of going to 17s, but didn't want to have to drop my PiP in the process. Just wondering if the wheel gap would look lame.

Nevertheless, the car looks fantastic. Good choice with those rims.

Here's what some 17's look like with the factory springs.

I'll be happier once the PP springs are installed - hoping for a reasonable drop to close the top gap.
