All in all, a pretty fair write-up...

I saw an i-MiEV today!!! It was in the parking lot at In-N-Out Burger in Carlsbad, CA. I snapped a quick pic, but I can't upload it right now. But I saw one in the wild !!!
 :D   :cheer2: :welcome:

Nissan Leaf + iMiEV = multiple EVs from multiple manufacturers! Nice!
Is the Ford Focus EV coming soon? I have yet to see one. Oh, btw, I saw TWO Prius PHVs on my way to work yesterday. I was not really thinking about it when I saw the silver strip on the back of the first one, just thinking 'that looks cool,' then on the second one about ten minutes later, it clicked in my head, so I looked closer and sure enough. :)

I think this car falls short of the Leaf and is in good company with the rest of the EV offerings we've seen to date, hitting on the key points of:
    1) Looks silly
    2) Is very slow

The Leaf is the first EV (other than Tesla's) which doesn't look really very silly and/or hugely lacking in power.

The miev's interior looks like they sacrificed a lot of the interior dash information. Not even the traditional LCD, but pure old black liquid crystal display, very simplistic. Which means 'functional' but not as nice as even the rather base like MFDs Toyota has. Both the Volt and the Leaf do have more colorful, displayful like dash displays.

At best, the miev will be a slightly better electric car over some of the open air electric carts being used as short range cars.
