    I second that!

White DRLs in clear clusters please!

Maybe ask if the LEDs are canbus, then people won't have issues with excess flashing lights and need resistor or relay box change!

Hopefully, there will be more than 20+ ppl interested in the clear corners with clear lenses. However, I still want to see pics of them taken in bright sunlight. So far, all we've been shown is a picture taken at night. It doesn't seem bright enough to be seen during the day in bright sunlight.

Fair enough shout! I cannot see them being as bright as ones we see stock on cars, just got that feeling from the photos I have seen.

The problem is I think most of us want them to make our car look newer and of course an OEM look, so I'll go for these reguardless.

Out of interest this company looks like they do side mirror blinker LEDs with downward facing night lights that come on then you get near the car like the interior lights. Could you enquire about these also??? If they simply replace the stock turn signals in the side mirror units and you just need to wire into the interior light cables then I expect people would be interested!?

Already available through numerous vendors. DIY JDM style side mirrors combo lights (Signal+Parking+Courtesy lights) | PriusChat Nobody in the United States (where Panson is based) would be interested as we'd need to replace the whole unit, not just the stock turn signals as the US Prius doesn't come equipped with them.

Yes, for the 2010-11, the "L" is the DRL and the square is the amber turn signal.

Just wondering, how difficult would it be to replace the individual leds in the drl portion of the lamp? That's if the drl's aren't bright enough to produce a "legit look."
Did a quick search and individual leds don't seem to be too expensive....

I'll bet 100% that these units are sealed......just like tail lights they'll prob be plastic welded.

I'm wondering how hard it will be to wire the DRLs for the 2010-2011? Probably have to tap into the low beam or parking light wire and find an open +12V location in the fuse box under the hood.

Why would u want to have the parking light or low beam trigger the DRLs.......why not just use a hot + when in ready mode.....better yet use a relay to turn them off when the parking lights turn on.

Hence, tapping into the parking lights or low beam wires... to trigger the relay to turn the DRLs off. ;)

You just need a wiring relay like this http://www.alltronix.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=325 , pretty self explanatory.

All I need to know is where can I tap into the positive feed when I get car into Ready mode? Is the positive connector hidden under a flap in the fuse box in the engine bay only engaged when ready mode is active? If so EASY install!

U know that relay won't need a + when in ready. U hook up the + in 1 of the empty spade terminal in the fuse box, then the ground. The othere wire can be tapped from either the parking light or head light. Pretty easy.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they're sealed but if it's "sealed" like a headlamp unit it can be taken apart by baking it in an oven at low temp or using a heat gun.

I was more concerned about what size/wattage(?) led to use in the housing. Would you drill out the existing led and install the new with silicone sealant perhaps? Like others have mentioned, this unit may not be as bright as an oem drl. Just looking into a backup plan...
