Go Green Expo, May 18 & 19 2007

I went to this event in 2005 and got to bring my Honda Insight inside the building as part of the expo and had a lot of fun. Now I have a Prius and I have permission to bring it inside for the show this year. Anyway, in 2005 the Austin EV club was outside in a section of the parking lot and spawned an Alamo Area EV group. As far as I know, the Alamo Area EV group will not be able to attend, it's still a small group and I'm not sure if the Austin group has plans to attend. Free classes are being offered to demonstrate ways of reducing impact on the environment, make sure you sign up in advance. They will also be showing films like "Who Killed the Electric Car" and Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth". Several booths are set up with all kinds of products, information and demonstrations. It would be great to see some support from the Texas Prius chapter. Hope to see you there!
