    After 100k on my used 2000 RAV4, I went for my first new car! A beautiful Prius C, package 4, Summer Rain. I feel like a queen! Amazing, but I guess the wiper and cruise control levers they had 12 years ago are still good technology, because in my old car and the new, they are identical!

    I am soooohappy!

    Yeah, that style of wiper and cruise control lever's been used by Toyota since '92 or so. My mom had a 96 Camry (spanned the 92-96 generation) and it was like that. On our 91 Camry (generation before it), the cruise control was part of the wiper stalk, IIRC.

    Japanese cars have been doing the wiper stalk (in the US) on the right for ages and most have similar conventions for how they operate. However, Honda changed things up a bit for some years (w/the operation)...
