Just picked up my new Bareclona Red Pkge 3. I love it already. Only waited two weeks. I must be lucky. Now, I'm looking to have a Sunroof installed in the Hudson Valley Area in NY. Any ideas anyone. Also - any other suggested accessories?

Congratulations! oh my, you shouldn't have asked about accessories - you are gonna tempt yourself into spending a LOT of money! lol Mud guards, mud mats, side mouldings, stabilizers, heat shields, cargo liners... oh me o my, the list is endlessly tempting! It's like a new, really cool toy. I have to be careful not to watch the screen too much. I ordered a Pkge. 2 but the same color combo red/beige feel through on another deal and the dealer called me. It took about 5 seconds to decide to spend the extra cash. Didn't know how long I'd have to wait for my order to come in. So I bit on the pkge 3. I already love passing the gas station and looking at everyone. Why doesn't Toyota simply license the idea to all auto manufacturers? I'm going to check into heated seats (NY winters) and a sunroof - if I can find a good local installer. I'm in Orange County NY in case anyone knows someone. I love this forum. David
toyota would license the technology if other companies wanted it. I know the Altima Hybrid is using the Licensed Toyota Hybrid system for the next two years and I think the Ford Escape has some of the licensed Toyota Tehcnology in that car.
I had a sunroof installed on my Avalon by Johnstons Toyota. They used a place in Westchester. You might ask them. Congrats on the new car, post some pictures.
Yeah, another Barcelona Red Prius (THE best color, of course!). Congrats on the new car, you definitely got lucky and got yours quickly. Priuschat is great, I learned a lot about the car and am still learning. Got my first questions from a random stranger about the car today, which was fun. After 2 months I still can't wait to drive it anywhere.
I credit Toyota with keeping the demand up. Nothing like underproducing a good product to keep desire for it high. ZC1

Congrats on your new baby. My baby arrives June 23rd. I wasn't too picky about the exterior color but did want all the bells and whistles. My dealer had one coming in that no one had reserved in the Silver Pine Mica with Package 6, with a few extras like tinted windows and XM radio. I didn't even have to put down a deposit. Guess the green is not a popular color choice, but it is growing on me. I think I'll totally love the green by June 23rd!
Just picked her up this afternoon, phew, I thought the wait would kill me. so far I have been at work so no time to "try her out". tomorrow is another day. so far the prius handles well, different. I am looking forward to many years with this one
