    And none too soon!!!

I just picked up my 2008 Magnetic Grey Pckage 3 Prius!

    I LOVE IT!

My trailblazer got the most horrible trade-in, but I guess that is to be expected

    Hey good for you!!
I have heard some dealers wont even trade SUVs so something is better than nothing. Shame you couldn't take part in the SUV sequestration program, where PriusChat members keep their old SUVs to use once in a while and keep them out of the hands of red necks who would use them as daily commuter vehicles.

Enjoy your new Prius, pity it isn't silver but hey, you got the second best colour.:D It's like driving an arcade game where you don't need a pocket full of coins but the rewards are real cash savings.
Now go hunt that high score.

That is to be expected nowadays. I could only get 4000 for my 2004 Grand Cherokee, 105,000 miles. :(

When I ordered my car back in early March I was
able to get a pretty good trade-in value. When I picked up the car at the end of May, the salesman said that if the car had been a week late the price of the trade-in would have went down by $1500. I would hate to think what I would have gotten for it now.

Congrats on your new Prius. I just got mine 2 days ago! And the finance guy at my dealer said they aren't taking anymore SUVs on trade-ins. They have all they want (or don't want).
