My prius came in today. Color and package I wanted. Found a dealer that had several on order and was able to get it in only 2 weeks. The wait with other dealers was 6-8 weeks. Having the dealer hold it until January 2 to take advantage of the better tax credit. The full credit is only for the first 600,000 buyers in 2006 so you may not want to wait too long to buy one if you are going for the tax credit. The new black grained interior looks nice. Could not get leather yet on the east coast.

ah... as i thought. and it's not actually the first 60,000 buyers... it's *all* the buyers until the end of the fiscal quarter after toyota sells 60,000 hybrids.
