Hey all, I'm a new owner in Alberta, Canada. Just picked up my Prius on wednesday, and have spent the majority of the last two days "playing" with my new toy:) Absolutely love the car, its a used 2008 fully loaded nav version, black, with 17 000km on it. I got it for 10K less than the same version new this year, so I'm pretty happy!

What with the weather in southern Alberta, I've had two contrasting days. My drive home from pickup in Calgary was in 10-15 deg C, today I got a cold weather -12 deg C, but I still got respectable mileage.

I'd been reading a lot of posts while shopping and before picking up my car. I've learned a lot from priuschat, thanks!

And I also scored an invite to the Calgary 2010 demonstration at the Calgary International Auto Show, so I'm looking forward to that.

    Cheers,
    Bruce

Welcome! I'm one province away and will go to the Calgary auto show, I don't think I'll bother signing up for the 2010 Prius event though.

Congrats on your purchase!!! I'm up at the capital at the moment.

$23k?? Wow, resale in AB is pretty poor lol. It'll go for a lot more in BC.

Actually it was $27k, but the same model new this year is $37 (at least as per my dealer).

Well enjoy the car! Read up on some of the articles in the Knowledge Base (KB). That's where we store our reference material.
