Has anyone experienced there Prius with the cold air intake by injen cal

    Some people claim that these devices reduce throttle lag, or make the car "seem" more responsive.

    My guess is that it would do nothing other than lighten your wallet by 200 bucks and possibly cost you more when you get your car worked on at the dealership.
    Unlike the K&N filter, It really can't hurt anything in your car, but the mechanic might call out to his (or her) buddies and say:

    "Hey look at this crap!! If he fell for this one, let's see if we can get this guy to fall for the throttle body cleaning scam!"

    Take the $200 and buy lottery tickets instead.
    You'll have a better chance of improving your 'throttle response" or fuel efficiency. ;)

    A good point from that thread was that the engine shuts off often, so what good with a cold air intake (which looks more like a short ram intake) do?
