Has anyone received a CA Green HOV Sticker yet?

That seems like a helluva long time. I had mine in about 2 weeks. Longest 2 weeks of my life!

Yes I just received mine this Monday. Only a few weeks after getting the car. )

I mailed my application on June 2 (a Saturday) and the stickers arrived June 11, barely a week later! My dealer's DMV person called me on June 1 with the license plate number so I could send the HOV application before I got the actual plates. The dealership also helped me fill out everything but the license plate when I picked up the car so it was ready to go as soon as I got the plate number.

I thought long and hard about front sticker placement.

I thought about putting it on the lower left front bumper like most of the owners here. However, I decided to put it right next to my license plate. I had sticker location remorse in the beginning. In fact, it bothered me all day.

But, I am now happier with my decision to try and conceal it in the busyness of the license plate.

Oh well - it is there for good now. Here is a picture in case you are considering sticker placement.

I am usually trolling the HOV on the 15 (San Diego) & 405 (OC/LA).

Had a bike cop pull up next to me at the signal to merge onto the freeway, He stayed right with me as I merged over to the carpool and jumped in. I had all 4 windows down. He looked at me and kept going. At that point it dawned on me my rear window sticker on the passanger side is probably actually prefered by the bike cops. Considering they just fly up the Car Pool lane splitting traffic on the yellow stripes. That sticker in the lower right corner of the rear window is right in his field of vision as he is splitting cars, where as the stickers down on the bottom of the bumper are a bit harder to see in those situations.

I know ultimatly it comes down to the Officer, his opinion towards PHEV vechicles, his mood, did he get laid the night before etc. But In my opinion I think now placing them in the bottom corners of the rear window and the front window bottom drivers side is legitly the most practical spot for cops trying to bust people.

I haven't received mine yet, app was returned because I checked Plugin Hybrid as well as PHEZ(my bad) so I had to cross out the phez and send it back in.

I was thinking about placement. I am not crazy about putting the stickers on my paint, so I was thinking the following:
Rear Hatch Flat Glass Right side - Large sticker
All Four small triangle windows get a small sticker.

Thoughts?

Well here in 'Morbid Bay' it's foggy as usual so the colors aren't quite as obvious, but I don't hve any problem with the combination... but I'm not an artist either.

Bought car on June 11, got plate # to turn in app on June 14, sent in app via first class mail with delivery confirmation. No status since day it was sent in. Called USPS on June 20 (have to wait 5 days with no activity before inquiring about it), they started investigation to find out about it. Sent in another app using next day mail and will see how that one goes. From the looks of it, if you send app with delivery confirmation they might get too back logged to receive the letter (they have to sign for it as it is a PO Box you are sending app to). Anyway, here's hoping they will get it the second time. Anyone know if they get sent two apps will they just ignore one/send it back or possibly send you two sets of stickers?

A word to the wise--check your HOV lane application very carefully before submitting it to the DMV!! I thought I had checked mine over well before submitting it, but after two weeks in Sacramento, the application came back to me because I had forgotten to sign the darn thing! Now, 10 days and one more submission later, I see that they have cashed my check--I expect to receive the decals in a few days or so. All's well that ends (or, will end) well, but what a 10-day drag!

No shit, what's the point of including a telephone number. I checked something wrong and went through the same thing. So instead of looking at the DMV report which they run to see that I have a plugin, they sent it back.

This is a reference to that second page which is mostly blank for new applications, for which one repeats information about the car on the top and has the required signature at the bottom.

They only issue two large and two small stickers, so you can't have one small one in each of the four triangular windows.

One of the other things they routinely check is for current license plate tags, so the sticker is well in their field of vision. Also, the stickers of various colors have been out for several years, with the majority being placed as described by the DMV on the right rear bumper, so the CHP officers know where to look.

Pretty sure any car that has a green sticker right now has current tags. (yes there is some sarcasm in there)

Still waiting for my stickers. Check cleared this past Monday (June 25th), but haven't received stickers in the mail. I called DMV in Sacramento today (Thurs., June 28th), was told that stickers were "issued" June 21, and took several days to be mailed to me. DMV employee asked me to be patient, that stickers should arrive soon. I hope so!

Still waiting for mine as well, DMV cashed check on June 21, and I was told it was issued June 18, but still haven't gotten them yet. Sent app on June 14 so it has been 2 weeks so far. Although that is not too long, I'm concerned because I live in SJ and not more than a day or 2 mailing time away...worried it got lost in the mail.

I have the exact same worry--may be lost in the mail. I know that I could submit another application, but the DMV regulations say that you have to wait 30 days after the last stickers were issued before you can request that they re-send new ones. For now, I'm living next to my mailbox!

it sounds like they have been going out in batches. I'll bet all 3 of you get them on the same day.
