Has anyone received a CA Green HOV Sticker yet?

Thank you. My stickers just arrived in today's mail (sticker #2491)!!!! Interesting--Captain Pip posted that he received his stickers yesterday, and his number is 2601. So, stickers apparently aren't being distributed in strict numerical order.

I just got my green HOV stickers for my sea glass pearl PIP. Looks OK; it's a different green (Kelly green vs. the sea glass green (almost turquoise, IMO), but looks OK to me. Definitely better than the old yellow stickers. It's easy to see the green stickers on the sea glass pearl bumpers from a distance: CHP should have no problem seeing them.

yeah i should have followed up but forgot... as you say the stickers are very visible on the sea glass pearl.

Got mine today, 9 days after I mailed in the application and exactly 3 weeks to the day that I bought the car. I"m amazed at how quick this process has been. #2834 for those keeping track.

What are the measurements of the large sticker? Just spent a while searching for the info with no luck (have not received mine yet.)

3 3/8" x 7" (Man the DMV sure is getting these out fast now- only took them a week from mailing my application in.) They are up to 3511 now BTW.

Hi. Anybody get their HOV sticker lately? I just mailed mine end of last week and wanted to know when to expect it.

If everything goes smoothly (application is complete, etc.), it will probably take about a week to 10 days from the date that you mail in your application for you to receive your stickers.

Hmmm. I'm getting a little upset, because I mailed my green sticker application in 15 days ago, and according to my bank, they haven't even yet cashed my $8 check. I hope my application didn't get lost in the mail. Based on other posters here, I should have received them by now. Does anyone have advice, like a phone number to call? Or maybe re-apply after waiting another 2 weeks?

I got my sticker in under 10 days but it got to me in the mail the day after check cleared the bank, so I think they sent the decal before they banked the check. Guessing.

Reason I asked my original question was that I called that DMV Special Processing Unit just to confirm if they got my application and her response was. They can't check. The unit that handles the carpool stickers are only on the mail they got at end of July. I wasn't sure if she was feeding a generic answer so I don't call back in a month or if they are really like 3 weeks behind in just processing these requests!

It's a bunch of baloney that they can't check on your application. In May/June, I called to check on my status, and they told me what day they received my application. They weren't accurate as to when I would receive my stickers (they said they were behind, and that it would be several weeks. It turned out to be a few days). They can certainly tell you at least if they have received your application.

I just had a client who has become a dear friend and her ex buy a car within 1 day of one another. We now assign plates here, so I get plates quick as of Aug 1st. Two days tops under the right circumstances.
She sent for the stickers Aug 6th, and they are already on her bumper for days now.
This is usually why calling DMV is a fruitless thing. They just seem to make stuff up to get you off the phone.

BobCh: what was the number you called? I mailed my application and check in on Aug. 1st and haven't received anything yet. I just want to make sure that they received it (or that I mailed it to the correct address/department). And let us know when you get your stickers!

Try calling either one of these two phone numbers: 916-657-8035/916-657-6560. I called several months ago, and got through. Don't remember which number, but it was one of these two.
