HEADLIGHT BULBS

    The headlight bulbs are
    low beams (outer) 9005 HB3, make sure its 2 oin, not 3
    High beams (inner) H11 HB2, make sure its 2 pin, not 3.

    I appreciate all the advice about checking owner's manual or 'specs' but I could not foind the ID of headlight bulbs. There are alternate bulbs with greater light distribution and extension but we have a selection and will let you know which are better.

    We haven't had time to find out if the adjustment on the headlights is horizontal or vertica but as of now I believe turning a phillips clockwise raises the aim of the headlights.

    You have that reversed. The low beams are H11 55w bulbs and the high beams are 9005 65w bulbs.

    I may have but I could swear the outboard bulbs are 9005 and inboard H11; thats what happens tho when you get old. just wait, you'll see. Low beams are outboard, right ?
    In either case 100 watt bulbs are spectacularly better; now lets see with the 80watt bulbs and I'll verify those bulb positions.

    Using higher wattage bulbs risks overheating and melting the OEM wires and connectors due to the higher current running through them.
