headlight delay off

Couldn't find the answer to this on here nor in the manual, but is there a way to
have the headlights delay in going off when you get out of the car? I'm so used
to being able to get out and have the lights stay on until I can get to a light switch
or into a building. Is this not possible on the prius?

Didn't think so - guess you can't have everything.

Our Prius does not have automatic lights, but if you leave them turned on (manual on setting) they will go off in about a minute. The only thing is that you get the audible notice that you've left the lights on and they will be on during the day as well.

I haven't seen this feature - are you sure yours work this way? Typically the headlights remain on until the driver's door is opened. There are some exceptions, such as turning on the headlights after the driver's door has been opened. so you always want to check and make sure they are out.

If you don't turn them off, the lights go off when you open the door. Turning off after one minute? Your car is smarter than mine.

If you want the headlights to stay on, roll down the window and exit Dukes of Hazard-style!
