heater water pump

    I have the new updated part number 16290-21010 pump but have no idea how to install it . The bracket is different that holds it together did I need to order another bracket or I`m I missing something .

    are you replacing the inverter water pump or the engine water pump?

    The heater water pump located next to the brake actuator .

    1. Provide some photos of the old and new pump.
    2. Is it possible you were sold the wrong pump?

    Okay I guess I ordered the wrong pump how many pumps are there I already ordered the invertor pump aswell .

    North America 2G Prius has four coolant pumps:

    1. engine coolant (mechanical, spun by engine crankshaft pulley and serpentine drive belt)
    2. inverter coolant (behind driver's headlight assembly)
    3. cabin heater (on firewall)
    4. engine coolant heat recovery system (next to CHRS canister in LF fender well)
