I ordered a front heatshield for a 2005 Prius on 10-27-05. $30.00 was charged to my credit card through Paypal. I have not received the heatshield. It has been over 45 days. What do I need to do...I still would like the purchase. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Please advise me about the status of my HeatShield order, placed with you on 12/3/05. PayPal charged my credit card the next day, but I have yet to receive the order, or any information from Canvasworks. :(

I have one of these. I live in Florida and the car sits out in the sun all day -- no basements where I live because of the high water table, so the garage is full of other stuff!

These heat shields are well-made and work great! They have a velcro strap to secure them when they are rolled up, for convenient storage.

Nothing bad to say, and lotsa good for this product! :D

Ordered from CanvasWorks and received about 5 days later. I'm sorry some of you didn't have the same experience! But it's already hot in Texas and the HeatShield+tinted windows are great. It's so big that it's hard to roll up when pulling it down, but worth the perfect fit and protection from sun/heat.

Sounds like ordering through canvas works may be faster.. but I believe you will pay an extra shipping charge.

I ordered myHeatShield Windshield Reflector in January when I got my car and was happy with it for a few months, now it sags and doesn't hold up well at all. In my previous car I had the spring-loaded type reflectors, I much prefer them and am going to look for some to fit the Prius.

Doh! :( I just got one for my Prius and one for our Acura. Do you live in a lot of heat, or is it just a cheesy product? It seems pretty nice, albeit ginormous.

Bummer. Maybe I should have gone cheap...

I live where it is hot, up to about 109 sometimes, mine is only about 2 months old and they sag too, but not enough to worry, they still do the job... I estimate they lay about 6 inches off the windshield in the center...

Yes, mine sagged slightly away from the horizontal windshield for the beginning months, but funnily enough after my post last week, the thing does not even hold up anymore. It slides out and down from under the visors, so is basically a dashboard cover. Can't get it to stay up, even though it is the "perfect fit" and size of the windshield, it just slides out from under the visors. Too bad because it was great when I first bought it. And yes I do live in hot climate, LA and work in Orange County.

Humm... I would at least call the company and let them know, they may have had a bad lot, or need to make some adjustments.

One thing I thought of is something like kite sticks.. in an X but that would be a mess to install inside the car.

Maybe they could just make the material stiffer or thicker.

Make sure you have it stuck in the sides and corners well.. that seems to give it some stiffeness.

If you call them, maybe they have already thought of something or will help you out.

this is one of the first things i ordered for my new prius... i love the custom fitted windshield shades! this is the third time i've bought custom vs off the shelf.... it does a much better job of keeping the sun/heat out!!

right now i don't even need to put my visors down to hold it in... if it does loosen up eventually... oh well.... your supposed to do the visor thing anyways!

i'm seriously considering getting the rear ones to use when we travel to bike rides to not only keep it cooler in the car while we're out riding... but to add privacy to change out of cycling clothes into street clothes (we have tinted windows but depending on the light you can still see in! )

anyways... thanx for the discount .... AWESOME product!

bought one for my 06 prius and it works great. now I want to get one for my 08 highlander, but i don't see it in the priuschat shop. the 01+ highlander is listed, but the 08 highlander was redesigned so i'm pretty sure that one won't fit. is it possible to get the 08-10 highlander heatshield added or should I just go through canvasworks directly?

We bought 'Heatshield's for our 2 Prius 2009 cars. Now planning to trade in these 2 prius for 1 2012 Prius v(ee). Yesterday we were at the dealership.. and I took our heatshield sun shade over to the Prius v(ee) to see if it fit. YES the heatshield fits snuggly in place.

Prius 2009 Heatshield sunshade [from Canvas Works sunnyvale.CA] (bought through Priuschat.com) fits in the new Pirus 2012 v(ee).
