My husband and I just got his and hers Prii after getting rid of our gas-guzzling Impala SS and 4x4 Jimmy. We are having so much fun accessorizing and reading up on Prius tidbits (mostly on this forum). Now we are racing to the garage when we go out. First one to the garage gets to drive!
That's pretty cool that you have a his and hers. That makes it easier to compete for mileage. Oh sure, you think that it won't be an issue but just wait a few fill-ups and someone is going to start gloating and one thing will lead to another and eventually there will be an all-out mileage competition. Man are you right about that! My wife and I have twins - hers: Barcelona Red, Mine: Spectra Blue. The owner of the Prius with the lowest reading on the MFD Saturday morning has to buy dinner for the other that weekend. Yes, it comes out of the same pocket, but it's still fun. So far I've won every single week. Mine is typically at 55ish, hers is typically at 50ish. I *think* though that my Spectra Blue's MFD is more optimistic than her Barcelona Red's is. I'm not sharing those findings with her, however. Enjoy the twins, we certainly are enjoying ours! Jack
Bill, I love your garage/house, very cool! ARedAZ!! Welcome to PC! I see you're in Mesa, I'll keep my eyes out for you! I'm not sure when the next one is yet, but us AZ Prius try to have a gathering once a month to meet the new owners & talk about everything! Hopefully you and your hubby can come sometime! We are also a two Prius family, it's very fun to have two, but the neighbors are always a bit confused.
