No, the HCHs are not seemingly affected according to a post further down on the forum which states that the Hybrids are assembled in Japan, SIs and coupes are assembled in Canada and the sedans which, are the ones reportedly affected, are assembled in Ohio. Go Figure! <_<

That pretty much reverses the trend of major recalls for Japanese built cars over the last few months, at least in Toyota's case.

my neighbors civic was in this recall, and the dealer had the car for several days. apparently a small number of cars affected, but a problem to fix.
