Last week i reached down to pull the lever to release the front hood (oil check time) and the cable had been rendered loose. Really do not know how it happened. Perhaps i pulled to hard. Does this happen often? Dealer fixed it easily, but from a quality standpoint I am not happy. Thanks.
I've noticed on my prius it doesn't take much force to unlatch the hood, compared to my prior cars, so I'm betting you pulled a little too hard on your car.
