Mine is manufactured 2010 May... and has done about 22000km. I only started noticing this about 3 months ago, when I'm taking a bend/turn, the horn doesn't work, no matter how hard I press it! once it comes back to the default position, things start working again. Anyone seen this? suggestions?

You clock spring has a bad connection. Take it to the dealer. Not a DIY fix as you risk blowing up the air bag in your face.

    Tx...
I don't trust the dealer here, so I'll try with a trusted repair shop...

In the US it would be a warranty repair.

My 2010 Prius just started doing the SAME THING! Honks when you turn the wheel. Doesn't when the wheel is straight. Car has 70K. Doubt warranty covers because it's probably out of warranty. Dealer wants to hijack me 200 bucks to fix this. How much was your repair of the clock spring? Maybe do it yourself if you disconnect the battery? Help please.

Didn't get around to fixing this as the issue healed itself after a while... I'm not sure about DIY option given the air bag risk!
