I pressed display "screen off" just to try it and now I can't get the energy monitor and consumption screens to come on at all any more. I pushed the bezel switches (info, display, etc.) to the side of the screen, like the manual says to to get the screen to go back on, but all I can get are those screens, and not the energy and consumption screens. How do I get it back to normal displays? :(
    Thanks

I believe that a restart of the vehicle puts everything back to default. But while driving, if you want to go back to the info displays after turning the display off, just hit the "info" button on the steering wheel.

When I do that the first time, I thought restart will do it. But nope. You have to press on display, then press on trip info to get back to energy screen. At least in 05.

Same on the 2006: press display, then trip info. Or as stated above, just hit the info button on the wheel, once the MFD is back on.

Oh. Oops. I could have sworn mine came back on the next time I started. Brain fart.
