Best way to tell is find out what the MSRP (sticker price) is. I know of a Toyota salesman who once told me the absolute best you can expect to get off a Toyota brand vehicle from the sticker price (excluding incentives) is about $1500 off the sticker, most people will get around $1000 off the sticker on a Prius as it doesn't sit on the dealers lot very long. On a related note its even less for a Scion ($500 off the sticker is the best you would probably ever get) He says the reason why is because Toyota prices their vehicles competitively to start with. Even when they do rebates it is usually a fairly low $500 or $1000 instead of the $3000 - $5000 rebates other manufacturers do.
Probably a good deal, don't let them throw a curveball on you with financing. Sometimes its better to get pre approved from your bank and see if they'll beat it.
