If 10 times more cars are imported from Japan than into japan then what does that tell you about the current quality of domestic vehicles?

Malorn, how many passenger vehicles sized Corolla or smaller does Detroit sell in the US to **private** sales -- fleet excluded ?

Seems to me the biggest issue is the RHD. Lets face it, if Toyota refused to make any cars with LHD for the US market, how many do you think they would sell? I for one would not buy a Prius if the first thing I had to do was have an aftermarket drive conversion done to it.
Why doesn't Detroit instead of whining about the big bad Japanise not buying their cars, make models with right hand drive for the Japan market?

    DANG YOU TOO! Malorn

Please refer to my previous Daning of Squid for the reason why.

    Wildkow

ps maggieddd just another reason besides a lack of critical reasoning skills to ignore you. Your asking other members on this forum to censure Malorn's post/poll because of his views. That type of conduct is unAmerican and borders on interference with his right of free expression. You Madam (and I use that term loosely) are a poor excuse for an American. <--- "Wacko" smilie.

It's the funniest thing, the most liberal, self-proclaimed rational and tolerant people, are the FIRST to get violent. It's like clockwork.

No, that's not true. It's the people at both extremes. They're really just about the same type of person, just with different buttons to push. When you look at it extreme socialism (I'm thinking Stalinism and the like) and hard core facism are really hard to tell apart.

Oh, and which side would not proclaim themselves, liberal, rational, and tolerant?

So the far right is conservative, irrational, and intolerant? I'd agree with that. I'd say the same thing of the extreme left. They're also irrational and intolerant. One group uses the word "tolerance" the other uses "values". There's no fundamental difference between them. Their ideas (read buttons) are different but their underlying philosophy is the same.

    Twas a Simpsons allusion.
