It is said that headlight bulbs gets dimmer as years gone by. I seem to notice that the low beam is not as bright as its first day.
I am wondering how often do you change it even when it is still working.

As soon as the first one burns out, replace the pair.

Plastic housing yellowing from UV, and dirty windshield probably has more to do with it than the bulbs themselves.

I had my first lightbulb go out in December 2012. They didn't have a pair of bulbs in stock at my local mechanic, so they just replaced the burnt out bulb. Less than 2 months later (today), I'm back at the mechanic's to have the second one replaced.

It seems that my original set of bulbs had a somewhat short life. I don't use them as Daytime Running Lights, so it seems odd (maybe normal.....I guess I thought they would last longer).
