    Thanks for the reply
I follows the instructions on that above link seems to get me into maintenance mode but ?
I thought its supposed to display some kind of diagnostic-screen on my Nav display that lets you make some hidden adjustments and check stats and battery stats ?
All I get is the message saying I'm in maintenance mode on the above top display nothing on the nav screen ?

That is the way maintenance mode has worked when I used it, nothing on the nav screen. I think the G2 Prius may have provided more information and functionality via the nav screen than the G3.

easy enough to check your 12 volt under the hood with a dvm.

Or about equally easy to check at the battery. ("dvm"= digital voltmeter or multimeter)

"Maintenance mode," as I understand, essentially means the engine runs continuously instead of automatically stopping when appropriate, so one can check or do anything under the hood that requires the engine to be on.

you should really try what I suggested on post #2, that's the information you are looking for in the navigation screen

Yeah that defiantly does work first you have to turn the Power Switch On by pressing the power button twice without your foot on the brake
then on with my model I pressed and held in the info/apps button while turning the headlights on and off 3 times it brings you into the Maintenance mode that displays on the nav touch screen which allowing you to move around
Without any instruction to know what I'm doing I'm afraid to mess around in there thinking I could easily mess things up

If anyone knows how to get around in there please chime in ?
