How to get to the last page of many pages of posts?

    New guy on the block, but have been doing a lot of reading.

    When reading posts that total 13 or 35 pages, how can I skip to the last few pages (most up to date)?

    Also, where can a newbee find more about listing questions, etc.

    If you're not on the last page already, to the far right in the list of pages is a double 'greater than' symbol - >> . Click on that to get to the last page. Also, on the far left in the list of pages is a pull-down that allows you to enter a page number to 'jump to'.

    There's also a little box that's half red (?) just to the left of the thread title. That will take you to the first unread post in the thread, which should be somewhere near the end if you've been keeping up with that thread.

    Check the phpBB manual, particularly Section 4, Using phpBB. The interface is a bit different, but much of what is described in that manual is relevant here.

    Hey Russ. Welcome to Priuschat.

    One suggestion that you might want to try is the "L-Fi Version". You will find a link on the very bottom of every page. This is the "text only" version of the website. In this version, you will not see pictures, avatars, or anything non-textual. If you need to see the "full version" you can use the link on the text-only page.

    By using the Lo-Fi Version, you will be able to quickly skim thread lists looking for those topics that interest you and very quickly read all the replies.

    The rightmost column lists the name of the last person to post in the thread. Just click on the words "last post by" in that box and you will be taken the the last post in the thread.

    Here is an example:

    If you choose to click on the Topic Title: Free Word Association Part Two

    You'll see something like this near the top:

    312 Pages 1 2 3 > »

    Just 'click' on that right-most character, & you will be taken to page 312.
