Hey guys, Does anyone here know how to remove the entire headlight housing?

I was replacing my bulb when I noticed the bulb spinning freely and not coming out, so I pulled on the back, and the "plug" end came out...while the "bulb" end fell into the projector lens area. If I can remove the housing, I should be able to fish out the rest.

techinfo.toyota.com is where you can obtain repair manual info.

My guess is that you'll have to remove the front bumper cover first. Before you go to the effort to remove the headlight housing, perhaps you might try to improvise a tool.

For example, use a vacuum cleaner hose to suck out the bulb. Or, a flexible rubber hose with some chewing gum on one end. See if you can pick up the bulb somehow. Good luck.
