How to remove pin striping?

    Well, I've discovered a nick in my pin striping so it's only a matter of time before I'll be compelled to remove it. Since I've never had pin striping before I have no idea how to take it off. Can somebody advise me please?

    Is it the tape on type? If so warm it with a hair dryer or heat gun and just carefully pull it off, warming it as you go.
