Hubcap circle / wheel cover

My dark purple smoothie was starting to spill, I tried to grab it and keep it from ruining my carpet and upholstery, then I turned the wheel hard into the curb. OUCH.

Is anyone looking to sell or give away (I'm happy to pay for shipping!) one of the snap-on plastic hubcap circle/wheel cover thingies?

Sorry to hear that but I have to know... Did that plastic ring protect your alloy rim? I was guessing that's thier main purpose.

Love the "Chaka" avatar. You may be able to find someone to part with thier rings when we start the LA Prius club. Find out when we are starting in this thread.

Well, it did and it didn't. I really slammed into the curb (and I was not going fast) I was pulling out from a stop at the end of an exit ramp. The alloy rim took a hit - scratched and a bit dented, it would have been worse if the plastic ring hadn't been there. The plastic rim didn't totally break, it is still on my car, but it looks like hell.

Thanks! I put it on my watch list. I also heard from a guy in Indiana who buys totaled cars (he seems to specialize in 2004+ Prius). I may buy one from him, he seems to be reasonably priced....not $100! I was at the dealership today, they quoted me $40+ for one. OUCH....damn smoothie!

I have 4 of them I'm looking to sell... just had chromed oem wheels put on mine and don't need the grey rings anymore. Let me know if you're interested. I was gonna throw 'em on ebay anyhow.

I just put my 3 remaining rings/hubcaps on ebay... look up "prius hubcap" on an ebay search. bidding starts at $19 buy it now option at $25. the fourth is spoken for...

You can have one of mine free---I wouldn't even put them back on the car if/when I sell it. I had a thread (and a poll) a few months ago about all the trim rings floating around. Seems about 30% of us take 'em off.

I took the plastic wheel covers off my 09 touring 16" (can't believe anyone would leave em on over those cool wheels)

However now I need the small center hub cap -- any ideas muchly appreciated!
