Someone backed out on deal for a standard package 3 and the dealership called me. I thought I woudl have a 2 month wait. Traded my truck at 11 mpg and love this car. Have gone 100 miles and am getting 48. Set up my blue tooth and also love that. My truck had XM radio and my prius has a package 3 that is suppose to be XM capable. Is there something that must be installed to use XM radio on a package 3? I can not find the radio number in order to call in XM radio and turn it on? My radio has a Sat button but nothing happens hen i push it Any suggestions?
Yes you did! Congrats and welcome! Hopefully you also got the color and package you wanted. About the XM radio, from what I understand it's a special installation, but then again I don't have it. I believe that you hit the nail on the head when you said that the car is "XM capable"; meaning you can install it, but it's not there util it is installed. Try doing a search and seeing what you come up with.
