    Calc'd 63.18 MPG's for the day. Wow!

OMG ... the driver's seat is soooooooooooooooooo much better than my 2009!!

It's Gray cloth, feels good, it's comfortable! Driving is such a different experience than mine. I'm down in this 2010, cradled in the seat which is wide, soft and supportive. The 2010 seat is not awkward at all like my 2009. Plently of legroom. The seat bottom foam is softer than the 09.

Power mode ... feels like pulling away in a strong 4, or some V6's, maybe, it's a decent kick in the pants. No data, but I felt some power pulling away from a corner.

I driving a little faster in this rental, but maybe that's because I'm a excited at what might be my next car in a year. The 2009 is as good as gone because to me, it's doesn't feel like a $30k car ought to. If I was 5'8", maybe, but I'm not.

The JBL sound system is quite good IMO, not the strong overbearing lows of a powered sub, but it makes nice clear full sound.

Gotta go ... more later, so ...

Maybe I should just switch the license plates ... :D

Ah .. no. Around the neighborhood curves, it's a bit more docile than the V, some more body roll, not bad, I could live with it. Eco mode sure softens up the response.

Went through Palomares Rd, a windy backroad that runs from Niles to Castro Valley. The car is very secure in the turns. I didn't push it hard, not worth it, but wasn't crawling through the turns either. I like the way it steers and turns. I can see well when going through long right corners. Steering is not numb to me (if anyone said that, they're screwy).

This morning while setting the tires to 37fr/35rear, was a bit hard to screw off the valve caps. Couple of them fell into the wheels. Lost one, replaced it, the other was under the car.

Took me a few to find the clock ... it's up on the main screen.

At this point, the floating bridge console is not bothering me. But, I couldn't shift from driver to passenger seat in the car which I've done a couple times while futzing around in the 09.

They corrected the driver seat headrest in the 2010. It's maybe 1/2" behind my head when driving, where it ought to be to prevent whiplash. I've got 7/8" of foam in my 09 headrest.

And the clock has a 12/24h option lol.

At least it's not the cheap looking casio-type clock that's been in Toyotas for 20 years.

Calc'd MPGs for the day -

    121 miles / 1.915 gal = 63.18 MPG

mostly in normal mode, bit in power, and very brief time in eco mode.

    Very nice car indeed :)
