I'm not remembered any more (sob)

In the last week or so, I have to log in every time I go to PriusChat. I always check "remember me", but suddenly PriusChat seems to have amnesia where I'm concerned.
I'm running Safari on an iMac, but the "remember me" always worked before the last few days. Ideas?

It started happening to me too the last couple of days only.

I think it's the system going wacka wacka. Nothing personal.

Check your preferences, make sure it accepts cookies from sites you navigate to, one possibility.

Your not alone it happened to me after the site update.

Same issue here, I use Firefox. Yup, I click Remember Me each time.

I use other forums and I am remembered there, so I don't think it is a cookies issue specific to my PC.

I always clear the cache and cookies when I close my browser. However, on the site, it does timeout if I walk away or am busy on the phone. Haven't timed it, I'm guessing 10 mins

For me, during the first couple of weeks of the new graphics, it remembered me fully and all the time.

Now the sign in box with my name and password already filled out appears in the upper right corner. But I don't have to sign in. The box is just there as I described, for no apparent reason. I'm signed in whether or not I click the sign in icon.

Judy, did you make any preferences changes or updated anything on your computer around the time that this started? I can't help you with anything Mac-specific, but I use Internet Explorer 7 on Windows Server 2003 and Vista x64 and I only need to enter my password about once a month.

For what it's worth - PriusChat might sometimes forget you, but I never will!

I'm just unforgetable, no problems with Firefox!

Not shown as signed in on the front page, but am signed in in the Forums.

IE 8 RC 1 on Windows Vista x64, IE 7 on Windows XP SP3.

:rockon:WOW I never thought to check that, Judy you should check this too. Even though your not signed on on the front page when you click on and go to forumns your signed in. It's a miracle LOL

Yes, that's what I was saying. I thought I mentioned that to you in the other thread and I mentioned it again earlier in this thread.

It looks like you're not logged in on the front page, but in actuality you are logged in and can perform all functions that logging in gets you.

That said, during the last couple of days the front page "not logged in look" is different than it was last week for me. These days I get the sign in / log in box in the upper right with my name and password already typed in and seemingly asking me to click on the log in icon. But in realty I'm already logged in and can do everything like posting, starting a thread, editing my profile, etc.

I think it's just there to annoy me so that the turquoise colored side bars can calm me down.

I tried bypassing the login request on the first page, clicking on forums, and :cheer2: I am remembered. I just didn't know the "double-secret handshake" to get past that login screen.

Thanks to all for your suggestions. And yes, I used to be "Grandma Judy" but had to create a new login because I couldn't get the system to recognize me by that title. (Doesn't mean I'm not still a grandma)

Stopped working for me using Vista and FireFox, too. ARRRRG!

it's always like that when i log in.

i log in, hit the forum link and i'm instantly recognized!

As one Geno to another LOL, the point is (what I missed too) is that you don't have to log in you just click on formuns and it remembers you. See Boo it wasn't just me that doesn't have his sails up all the way
