I have an 06' Package 7...with GPS, Bluetooth, etc on the steering wheel.

The last couple of days I have noticed that when I press the "info" button on the steering wheel, the gas mileage/consumption screen does not show up anymore.

To get to that screen, I have to hit the 'info' button on the actual screen (not on the steering wheel).

I don't remember really messing with any of the settings - and all of my other buttons are working on my steering wheel.

Any Ideas? Did I press something I shouldn't have?:confused:

    Thanks!

Maybe the rocker switch on the wheel is worn out.

^ that's the first thing that came to mind. There's no settings for the steering wheel buttons AFAIK.

It is also possible that the spiral cable is starting to fail. Are all of the other steering wheel buttons working?

It's probably the spiral cable as it has happened in my 2004 Prius. The defroster buttons also are not working. If I steer hard left or right, the buttons will function. Anyone know the average cost to get this repaired at the dealer?

I also have the same problem, same year, same model! I signed up for this site just to figure this out and came across this forum after doing a search. Did you guys figure this out? I only noticed mine stopped working within the past year im guessing. Wonder if the dealership has seen this problem often?

i have the same issue, info button and defrost buttons do not work, but all others do. Could this still be a spiral cable failing as you suggest, or something else?

Also wondering if something could have gotten unplugged when they did the steering shaft recal/replacement? I just took off base cover of steering wheel to see if I could see any plugs or wires, but could not access.
