iOS 8 and Entune

    I have iOS 8 Beta running on my iPhone 5S and was listening to music via Bluetooth today and noticed something interesting. Every time I recieved an email Entune popped up the Text Message Recieved notice, and I could actually have it read my email to me.

    Kinda cool since before with iOS 7.1 it never showed or read Emails to me, it only displayed and read Texts.

    Like you, my IOS 7.1 Does show text messages and will read them to me. But not emails. That is a nice addition.

    It used to be that iPhones and Androids behaved opposite each other with Entune. Looks like Apple is allowing both messages and e-mails to come through.

    I receive txt and emails from my Head unit, not happen 100% and using 7.1.1
