So I just installed the lower bumper grill block this weekend as winter is coming and I am in Minnesota. Immediately noticed that the outside temp reading was higher than it really was outside. Today went to work and on my way back the radio said the temp was 56 degrees and the cars outside temp reading climbed after my hour commute up to 86 degrees. Is this normal and should I be alarmed or anything?

The outside air temp probe is on the driver side of the inlet. Make that end "leaky" and you'll get better readings.

Thanks! I will put a larger hole or cut-out an area on that side.
