I first heard about the Prius C when my boyfriend showed me a commercial of theirs back in about mid March. I did a ton of research that night, and was hooked. I wasn't even looking for a new car at the time, but I was suddenly CONVINCED I needed one. After test driving and doing some dealer negotiations, I ordered my car and put down a deposit April 19th. Now, 10 weeks later on June 30th my car FINALLY arrived! If you've been reading some of my posts, you will know my car was actually supposed to arrive around June 8th, but missed the boat so I had to wait another 3 weeks! I have to say, the wait was completely worth it. My car had 6 miles on it when I picked it up, and I could not be happier with the summer rain color. The car is so tiny, I forgot how small it really was because I hadn't test driven one in about 3 months! Enough chatter, here are the photos! enjoy! In the showroom! Here she is!
Congratulations! I know the feeling of getting your new C! I did tons of research before as well. My fiancé says I am obsessed, I say I no. Watched all the videos of test drive reviews, went on here every night and ya Enjoy your C. We love ours!
Gorgeous and congrats! Thank you especially for the pictures of a rarer color. I'm still torn how I feel about Summer Rain - I wish it were more greenish than sky-blue most of the time. I wonder to myself if I'll still like the color years down the road. But it's absolutely lovely regardless, and it's what you like that matters!
I'm envious! I ordered mine Memorial Day weekend. It is really the very best color - nothing like it on the road.
Thank you so much everyone for your sweet words after so much waiting I cannot believe it's finally here! I LOVE it and am so happy thank you for all of your support! Hope these photos helped you one way or another if you were on the fence about this color! I agree, I wish it pulled more green tones but I still love it regardless. I actually am a little bit nervous about not liking it 5 or so years down the line, but I figured I could always sell it at that point. I know that blues/greens have a tendency to fade awkwardly, so we'll see how the color holds up. I hope it still looks this pretty in 5+ years!
Congrats! I love, love, love my C! Nice pics! I am averaging about 58 mpg (on the dash readout, in reality it's prob around 55 or so), I have no complaints!
Congrats! Summer Rain Metallic - I think we SRM owners have sophisticated taste. Well - I don't think my GF would agree but what the heck! PS: I talked to my salesman on Saturday - the wait in Hawaii is now about 4 months for the Cs, not much better for the hatchbacks and v's. Edited to ask: Are those 15" or 16" tires with the alloys?
Great looking C, and you have the 15" alloys, very smart move. I have heard that the 16" alloys and lower profile tires don't provide as nice a ride as the 15". Best of Luck!
Thank you so much everyone, I even had someone stop me yesterday to ask me all about my car! I LOVE the color and it was definitely worth the 10 week wait! ewaboy they are the 15 in alloy wheels. new2here that is amazing! I have only driven about 50 miles but have been averaging about 45 MPG. Seattle is extremely hilly, so I'm not surprised by this number. Anything beats the 18MPG (city) average I was getting before in my Hyundai!
