Finally got to the dome light and cargo light... For future reference, getting the flathead wedged between the clear and the opaque plastic away from the switch and near the upper corners are the best pry points.

For the Cargo Light, pry near the switch area as the plug and electrical are closest to the door.

You do not want these bulbs in the vanity mirrors as they will bee both unnatural AND blinding!

Agreed, my girlfriend went to do her makeup or whatever in the passenger seat, opened the mirror thingy and was shocked at how bright it was (any brighter would be way blinding).

I decided to go with your recommendation and ordered the same from iJDMtoy.com. Thanks for the tips on dome housing removal too. The OEM interior lights are just too dim.

Everyone, remember to use promo code "GoJDM" for 10% off. Total, including shipping, is $45.94.

I went with the package as well and so far so good. As taking off the interior covers, you have to a bit bold and pry!

Overall, looks good and I didn't change the vanity mirror ones. Thanks fellas.

I don't think it's a typo because ALL accessories from Japan are super expensive and the shipping fee is ridiculous. I bought a set of emblems (4 little ones and one 1"x3") that came in a small envelop and the shipping was $16.00!

I am really interested in getting the Interior LED kit, but have a question whether the lights still fade on/off or if they change to just instant on/off. Specifically interested in the Superbright LED kit.

    Thanks in advance!

They work pretty much like the original lights. Instant on and then fade to off when you exit the car. Dont hesitate in getting them. It is one of the easier and cheap mods you can do.

Has anyone replaced the red lights in the front floor well? I want to change them to blue, but could do another color. Are they included in the interior LED kit?

Very reasonable shipping cost. Most likely shipping include insurance. We ship small items all over the world and shipping cost (with insurance) is $10.40 including USA.

    Re: I've been a Prius v Accessory Junkie :)

Read your post about a month ago, and since then, have also bought several accessories for my Prius v. On delivery of the car back in March, I already had the all-weather mats, 3M Full Pkg + DFI & bike hitch installed. Today, my dealer installed: the side body moldings, center console cover, mud guards, cargo net, rear bumper applique and cargo liner. Up next: maybe the shark fin antenna, leather-wrap on steering wheel and window tinting! This site is clearly infectious but I love my car and want HER to look good!!!!

I've been searching the forum for pictures of the pry points for the covers and can't find any. I'm a newbie with doing mods and would feel a lot more comfortable if I could see where the pry points are before ordering. The seller's website is not very helpful with instructions. Is it so simple that nobody thinks install pictures are worth it? :)

I've read about needing to tie down or use adhesive in some installs.
And what about the license plate lights? Are those changed from inside the hatch?

    Any help appreciated!

The license plate light may be the easiest of all to replace. As per manual, you have to open the trunk, remove both covers via the pry point of the bottom left (be careful not to damage the edges) and just twist off the socket, pull the bulb off. I bought a set of panel removal tools under $15 from ebay.
