Finally got the JDM Side Mirror Covers with LED signal lights installed
by David Wang of Schwarz Autosports in Richmond, B.C.

Very clean install and he routed all the electrical wires through the
OEM flexi-hose between the front doors and the front door frame.

Here are photos of our car after the installation. :)

Next project will be the fog lamp installation. ;)

This is definitely on my wishlist of upgrades...I just wanna wait until I have all of my upgrades together so I only have to remove panels once...I don't want to break any clips or end up with loose panels rattling! it's the only part that makes me nervous...Ps looks great! I grew up in Richmond,bc. Off of Williams and Railway.

I think only North America dips out on this standard feature.

Looks nice but I'm surprised Toyota doesn't make this standard equipment. I think the new Kia that is around 15k has them as standard equipment.

Maybe it's Toyota's way of having additional equipment and features to packages in subsequent years... just my thoughts.

    Bengolf,
Do you know if there is any existing harness in the doors that have the turn signal signal? Did the installer have to wire a complete harness in the doors?
If there was a wire in there than it would be easy to make a simple LED signal attached to say the underside of the mirror.

    Oh, looks great!

Spiderman, I believe there are no pre-existing harness in the doors for the turn signals. It took the installer +3:00 hours to do the install. I was waiting for the car all the time.

I'll ask the installer tomorrow to double check and let you know.
    Thanks for the compliment. :)

Looks like it was a lot of work, but definitely worth it IMO. Great mod.
