Jump Starting a 2002 prius?

    I read that the Prius should not be jump started from the 12v in the trunk, but with some metallic connector under the hood. I looked and saw no such connector under the hood. What is the correct procedure for jump starting a 2002 Prius?

    I think the Gen 2 added jump terminals conveniently under the hood. For a Gen 1, just the battery posts in the trunk. Take great care to get the polarity right.
