jump terminals on a 2013 prius c (under the hood) There or Not

    I purchased a 2013 prius c (two) and i saw on this web site that their are jump start terminals, under the hood in the fuse box. How ever i do not see them at all i went to two seprate dealers and they could not find them. i saw a picture of the terminal on this web site. Are the 2013 prius c supposed to have them or not? If you have a 2013 prius c does your have them.

    I have looked under the fuse box and the jump terminal is not there.

    Check in your door frame. There will be a plate. Make sure you actually have a 2013 and not a 2012.

    I decided to check my 2013 C2. It also does not have the under the hood terminals. I thought, oh crap, I bought a 2012 and didn't even realize it. My car was manufactured 12/12, but is a 2013 according to the window sticker, car manual, VIN, etc. I checked in the manual (again for a 2013 Prius C) about starting the car when the battery is discharged. On page 477 it clearly indicates that the 12 volt battery is under the rear passenger seat and includes a diagram and verbiage on how to jump start the car. Perhaps the early 2013 Prius C's don't have the under hood terminals. I don't think Toyota would switch the years and even if they did I absolutely love my C2.

    I checked at that postive jump terminal is defentialy not there, i have contacted toyota and a service manager will get in contact with me. im thinkin that they forgot to add it to my car. I bought the car in feb 2013

    I must ask, you guys are looking in the driver's side fuse box and not the passenger side right?

    yes the driver side fuse box, its not there and two toyota dealers didnt find it either

    its not def not there, i dont get it unless the didnt install at the factory, and its a 2013 prius c

    John what is the production date on your C? All the literature I've looked at today shows the 2012 did not have the jump terminal but the 2013's do. There is no manufacter date that shows a difference in early 13's not having it or a particular trim level not having it. I'll check the ones that come in for service and keep digging to see if I can find any other info.
