I've been lurking here for a few weeks doing research on Prii. Which resulted in picking up a 2005 Prius with the BC package and dealer installed leather seats!

Interior is perfect, body has some scratches but is otherwise good.

Has 161k on it, a new battery and all the required/suggested maintenance has been done in the last 10k. So, other than oil changes, I won't need to do much to her for a while. Fog lights don't turn on though. Going to try replacing the bulbs.

In the process of upgrading my nav to 14.1. Burning the disk now.

Managed to get to 43 mpg in the first day!

Congrats on your new wheels and welcome to PriusChat! BTW: the fogs will only come on when the main headlamps (dimmed) are switched on. hope this helps - Wil

Fuse ! Many owners had problems with fog lamps draining battery and removed the fog lamp fuse to solve it.

I'm new to Prius Chat but have owned a 2005 Prius since it was new. I have 160K on it and it has been an excellent car. I'd be glad to answer any questions if you have any (except for fog lights, I didn't get that option)

Original fog lights in Gen 2 are not very useful...not much light and burn out too fast. In mine I have replaced them with LED which I wired to be ON all the time, without headlights.
