    Hello Ryguy,
Congratulation, on 2007 Prius, White, pkg #2, any photos?
Good to know there are still 2007 out there being sold.

My Prius almost 3 weeks old, pkg #5, Classic Silver Metallic with grey interior, 2007, came with 2 miles and a full tank. I now put gas in three times (cost me all of $20. each tank), It tells me I'm averaging 47 mpg.

I took my first long trip this weekend (From Boston, NH and up to Maine and back).
I now have almost 1200 miles, at this rate I will I will have 14-15,000 by the end of a year.
I thought that was high, but 45K yikes.

On this trip, I drove some of the trip on secondary roads, with speed limit set at 40 MPH, it was shorter route and I could pulse & glide, (using my nav system, so I didn't miss any turns) and cruise control, my consumption screen = 48.4 MPH for 344 miles for the trip. Still learning and came home late at night on the interstate.

Hope your Prius is up to what yopu expected. Mine is an 06 with leather and all goodies. I live in a rural area in the upstate between Greenville and Anderson. I do a lot of driving for Meals on Wheels so I have 29000 miles in 14 months but am retired so don't drive to work. I have had no proiblem except the 12 volt battery went dead in the first few weeks. The Easley dealer picked it up and replaced. I am told this is not normal but the jel battery can do this on some occasions. My overall mileage has been about 47. However it has picked up some lately to 51 for the last few fillups since the mileage is in the high 20s.
Let me hear from you! We don't seem to have many members in SC

    Welcome from another newbie:)

My wife filled up for the first time yesterday, and took a $50 out of habit. $13 for 4.3 Gal. 170 miles, She laughed at the gas station. Not too bad for winter driving. Oh, the computer was right on at average 39.5 @ 170 miles.

I got a great red '08 back in September. I was getting mid-50's in mpg until the cold weather hit and it started to slide down. I read some of the threads on hypermilling (I highly suggest everyone do that), and WOW. with the weather we've had lately in Greenville I can average ~58 mpg, and on the warm weeks (highs in the 60s) I had a tank at 60 and 61.1!

I can't wait to see what it will do next summer.
