Just hit 100k

    This car is a rock. Hit 100k in 2 years and 9 months. Took the beatings of two horrible winters in the east coast and it's still going. No major issues. Just oil changes every 6-7k miles. I hope to get to 200k before thinking about retirement.

    Thats a lot of driving in 2 years! I had mine for 2 years and 2 months with only 22k on it.

    Glad the car is able to hit those great miles.

    i drive way too much for work. it's mostly highway miles and holding up well. i've hit a lot of potholes as well. this car is solid. hope to cut out the long commute one day. oh, i'm also averaging 47mpg calculated. simply amazing.

    About to hit 70, 000 after 3 years. 80 mile round trip commute every day. 1/2 highway, 1/2 not. Average 60 mpg in warm weather and 54 in winter. Snow tires, oil changes, along with engine and cabin air filters have been only maintenance costs.

    If I keep on using the 'c' at the current rate, I'll probably get to 100K in 25-26 months. By which time I would be looking to replace my 'other car' with a new one, shifting the 'c' to the city car status. Unless my money situation improves, in which case I'd trade in the 'c' for a TDI Jetta Wagon or Golf, as and when.

    Wow I just hit 30k after 3 years. 10k a year. Now I work from home so I'll hardly be driving lol

    10K a year should warrant a different verb .. maybe not "hit", but "crept up to 10K"? Pretty much like Prius driver would coast to a red light in low traffic :)
