Just traded 05 civic hybrid for 09 Silver Pine #6 =)

    I got an itch the other day and took the civic in to swap out for my new green machine. Been wanting this for a while. first tank avg is 49 mpg with very little effort considering how hard I had to work the civic to get 45. I averaged 42.5 on it over 37k miles so I am not totally disappointed with it but the Prius is a muuuch nicer ride.

    Hello and welcome to PC. Congrats. Glad to hear your enjoying your new green machine :). Keep posting your impressions and experiences with it. Very interested in non-biased comparisons between the HCH and the Prius.

    Don't worry about the MPG, it gets better, guaranteed. The cold winter hurts MPG in a big way (you probably already know that), and not to mention the new car is probably not completely broken in yet.
