I am looking at replacing my interior bulbs with white LED bulbs and also the parking lights as well.

Is there a reputable website that everyone here uses that you can purchase these bulbs from ?

Also is there a list on the type of bulb for each of the areas (i.e. courtsey lights, trunk light, etc...?)

    Thanks.

I've looked in the manual and the parking light bulb states wedge bulb. I've found a few different wedge bulbs and random eBay listings for types of bulbs. I was hoping I could get information that was less 'ambiguous'.

I've seen several on superbright, I found this site mentioned. I am guessing as long as they are not listed as 'oversized' then they will fit into the OEM housing ? There are several 168 bulbs but I am leery about buying then having them plug in but not fit into the housing

All the cool kids have light up buckles. :D

Superdrol, I wouldn't get anything larger than a 5SMD. Should be fine with those.

I pieced mine together and spent ~$15 shipped for all of them. The wedge bulbs I just used the 5 SMD variety and they worked fine.

However, if you want a kit all said and done try out this one:

8 Lights Super Bright LED SMD Interior Light Kit For Toyota Prius 2010~2012

My buddy got those and they're definitely whiter than the ones that I pieced together and not too much more $$$.

What website did you order from ?

Btw do you have HIDs as well ? They look like 6000k. If so where from ? Since I'm causing trouble I might as well get all my questions out. Ha

I got mine off ebay. I've had fine experiences in the past with bulbs off ebay and they're certainly cheaper to try out.
You can always test fit with cheap bulbs and upgrade as needed.

No HID yet, they're in the mail. Those are the 5SMD LEDs in my headlights.

You just plug the connector in where the bulb was, the plate is designed to sit in the housing! I have similar plates in my Gen II, bright as hell! Mine came with 4 adapters to allow it to be used in almost any car, if you plug it in backwards, no light. When plugged in correctly, light! This kit is already set for Prius, it should work fine!
Remember, LED's have polarity, some DO NOT have protect diodes built in, so plugging them in backwards is bad, smoke etc! Some do, these are not a problem.
I used a voltmeter to figure out what pin was +, marked it in RED Sharpie, the other pin is - now marked in Black.
Red is + Positive, Black is - Negative!
    Simple!

Yeah, dude. Just plug em in. You can't really do it wrong. If it doesn't light up, flip the bulb and try again.

They'd fit, but if you need your reverse lights to actually illuminate the street/driveway, you'd be better off using a Cree projector LED. they're significantly brighter.

ouch. same thing happened to my friend.

if memory serves me right, you can't swap out the reverse for leds unless you bake , open, and reseal the headlights. if you have extra money, then I recommend buying some specD or valentis tails for full leds. they're awesome and will dramatically change your 2010.
