    A bit more expensive than an Exide or an Optima yellow-top. You'll also have to check out the dimensions as this company uses their own codes for the size/shape factor.

    Interesting thought. 40Ah seems like overkill though. Here's a 20Ah for $160 that would be kind of interesting to try. Not specifically marketed as a PbA replacement, but voltage ranges and currents look reasonable.

    There is also a version without the balancers for $124. I wonder how much they would really matter in this application.

    We have a 2005 and we used the Optima. We have had really good luck with it and increased our Mpg that had dropped significantly. We used a you tube video to install it and it went really well. We took one of our laptops to the car and follow each step. We now know that the drop in mpg probably the first sign of the battery needing change. We waited until we couldn't start it any more with a jump. Way to long!
