Hi everyone!!! I've had my shiny new red Prius for four days now and I just love, love, love it!!! I've been getting approx 49.5 mpg which is amazing. My family and friends are sick of hearing me rave about it so I figured this is the place to share my joy. You all know what I'm talking about. :dance::dance:
Enjoy..... you will settle in and within three moons you will be able to think of your Prius and just smile. At that point your family and friends will know what your thinking. I get the same way... Enjoy it while it lasts.
Congratulations and enjoy driving it. I was fortunate enough to get mine this summer just before a couple thousand miles of trips and really enjoyed it. I suspect you will enjoy this car for a long time to come!

I've been driving a Prius for over 2 years and my friends and family are still avoiding me. I can't get over how good it is.

So I'm not imagining it.. seem to be getting an unusual number of tailgaters behind my new Prius, and not because I'm lagging behind the traffic. What a bunch of sourpusses! :crazy:
Around here (Northern Virginia), everyone does that, especially if you happen to be keeping them from getting to their right turn before you do. I've seen this happen even in my beat-up 1994 S-10 Blazer (may it rest in peace). BTW, new poster here, just bought myself a 2010 Prius II and I'm liking it so far.
I feel the same way. I just got my new blue Prius yesterday and I can't get the smile off of my face. I can't believe what a great car it is and I just want to tell everyone I see. I hope I don't annoy all of my family and friends too much...
